Navigational Signage

Navigational Signage is related to visual graphics created to display information to a particular audience. This is typically demonstrated in the form of way finding information in places such as street, inside and outside of buildings. It guides people to different places and way, in other words it navigates the path for them. During designing navigational signage the way of colour and contrast play an important role, in order to effectively communicate the message and content. Colors have different meanings and work in various ways in contrast together. The chosen typeface is also effective and will make a difference's for designing a navigational signage. When using too bold weighted typefaces the text will look like its expanding of the sign, when using too light weighted typefaces the text will fall back into its background. Medium or Regular weights are usually the best options to choose for a good and readable sign.
